Also called bear garlic, wild garlic owes its original name to the fact that after hibernation, bears would purge themselves with these leaves! Bear garlic is excellent eaten raw, in pesto form or chopped in your salads.

Health benefits
The depurative virtues of bear's garlic would make it a good ally to fight against skin problems. It would also be useful to protect the cardiovascular system.

Once cooked, wild garlic loses its spiciness and its taste is halfway between garlic and leek: perfect sautéed in a frying pan with a little bit of oil, to accompany pasta, pan-fried vegetables, or even to make a nice omelette!
